It’s great to hear when a project the Trust has funded some years back continues to bear fruit. Close the Gap was an experimental initiative in the Diocese of Lichfield, begun in 2013, to bring together local churches and communities in contrasting socio-economic areas to journey together and learn from each other about experiences of affluence and poverty. Saltley Trust funded the initial year’s work and wider knowledge and resources were provided by Church Action on Poverty. Three further years of work were funded by the Diocese of Lichfield itself.
